SOTHEBY’S LONDON / The Auction 'Arts of the Islamic World' featuring distinguished Islamic works of art including magnificent examples of weaponry; rare and important manuscripts; fine ceramic wares; jewellery and fine tapestries and rugs will take place today (on 25th April, 2012). The auction comprises 290 lots and is expected to realise £7 – 10 million. The sale will also feature an exceptional selection of ceramics from 'Part Two of the Harvey B. Plotnick Collection'.
