Muslim artists from anywhere in the world are invited to participate in the IMAE2010. Because of the overwhelming inquires and responses received in the last two days, the IMAE2010 artist application deadline has been extended to October 6, 2010.

The second International Muslim Artists Exhibition (IMAE2010) is a venue to showcase the creation of contemporary Muslim artists all over the world. IMAE2010 will be held from November 26 to December 31, 2010 at Zeitgeist Multidisciplinary Arts Center in conjunction with the 4th Annual New Orleans International Middle East Film Festival. The event includes movies, lectures and educational workshops about Islamic art and culture.

IMAE2010 serves as a bridge between cultures and promotes mutual understanding. Showcasing the art of the Muslim experience from the United States and elsewhere helps to narrow the exciting gap between the Western world and the Islamic world.

The First International Muslim Artists Exhibition IMAE07 was hosted by the New Orleans African American Museum of Art, Culture and History in 2007 and sponsored by Southern University at New Orleans, International Museum of Muslim Cultures, New Orleans Musicians Clinic and NOAAM. The exhibit received local, national and international media coverage.
