was born in Dammam, Saudi Arabia in 1981. Shortly thereafter his family moved to Washington D.C. where he has lived ever since. Sharieff graduated from the University of Maryland School of Architecture (BS. Arch) in 2003. He also studied at McGill University (Montreal, Canada), and the prestigious Bauhaus (Weimar, Germany) while pursuing his Master’s thesis at Virginia Tech (M. Arch). Aatif’s cultural background, coupled with the international nature of his education has proved useful in his professional experience. As architect he has worked on a variety of projects, including restaurant interiors, art installations, and a large-scale multi-purpose project in the Middle East and he now works at an award winning studio in Bethesda, Maryland designing high end custom residential and institutional projects. Aatif currently, when he is not designing buildings, enjoys photography.
