EDITORIAL
In this editorial I wish to share the satisfaction with readers, given that Islamic Arts Magazine is becoming a very successful project. The quality is recognized by the people from around the world. We have an increasing number of subscribers and people who want to establish cooperation with us. Islamic Arts Magazine is a leader in the field of quality information about Islamic art, as well as an important source for the study of different topics concerning Islamic art.That’s why we prepared this Issue with very interesting content. There are first of all interviews with the artists: the famous turkish interior designer Zeynep Fadillioğlu and her work on the Şakirin Mosque in Istanbul; exciting photographic cycle of famous bosnian photographer Jasmin Fazlagić about traditional clothing in Bosnia and Herzegovina; conceptual artist Ziad Helmi Zitoune, with his visual language and explicit interpretation of the acute problems of modern expression; young bosnian calligrapher and ebru artist Alen Glušac and a new photographic hope from Cairo Nour Islam and his very exciting photographic cycle.
Especially interesting is an interview with graphic designer Muiz Anwar whose work ranges from the typographic to the social studies. We bring you an interesting project Line and research and present the not-for-profit organization Humantree. There is also a presentation of Walters Art Museum with amazing Islamic Collection.
In addition, we present other topics that will take you on another interesting journey through Islamic art.
