LOCAL ARTISTS, GLOBAL CHARITY
Humantree is a not-for-profit organization which is involved with the promotion and sale of art of both established and up coming artists. Working with contributing artists who generously donate their work, Humantree donates one hundred percent of the profits from these sales to the aid of underprivileged children, their families, and orphans around the world.
At present they are donating their proceeds to the United Nations affiliated charity, Small Kindness.Small Kindness is a global charity that was founded by Yusuf Islam (the artist formerly known as Cat Stevens), and has received numerous awards for their work with impoverished populations. Their work has helped orphans and families overcome poverty, and the affliction of both natural disasters and war. Furthermore, Small Kindness has been heavily involved in development of education of boys, girls, and young women to promote self-sufficiency. Small Kindness has ongoing and established charitable projects in Darfur, the Balkans, Iraq, Kashmir, and Indonesia. Their coverage of aid continues to grow.
