The 2015 HIPA Photo Forum took place on March 18, 2015 at the Oberoi hotel in Dubai. Hosted by Parween Habib, the Forum was divided into 5 panels: HIPA+ new season of competition; What a photographer needs; Photographic technologies and new media; Photographic communities + clubs and CSR program.

HIPA Winners of the 4th Season titled ‘Life in Colour’

The winners of the 4th season of the Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Photography Award (HIPA) have been announced at the 4th annual awards ceremony under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai. The Ceremony took place on March 16, 2015 at the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).

HIPA to Award Merit Medals to Finalist Photographers

The Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Photography Award (HIPA) is set to present 20 merit medals to various finalist photographers who took part in the fourth season of competition ‘Life in Colour’. The new merit medals are set to be recognition awards and fully announced after the HIPA Awards Ceremony on Monday the March 16, 2015.

HIPA Undertakes Corporate Social Responsibility in Remote Islands in Malaysia

The Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Photography Award (HIPA) has announced that it sent members of its team to undertake in a corporate social responsibility in various remote islands in Malaysia earlier this year. The initiative involved interaction with the nomadic Bajau Laut communities in Eastern Malaysia who often live in small communities off the shore of small islands.
