The Abraaj Group Art Prize 2015

The Abraaj Group Art Prize announced today the launch of the Open Call for artists and curators interested in taking part in the seventh edition of the prize. The curators’ applications are accepted until June 22, 2014, while artists’ applications are open until June 29, 2014.

International Emerging Artist Award

Sabrina Amrani Gallery has partnered with the International Emerging Artist Award (IEAA) for its 3rd edition, to uncover emerging talents from all over the world and help them launch their careers as internationally acclaimed artists. The prize will be awarded to an International artist and an Emirati artist.

The Map is Not the Territory

Baksun Books & Arts and The Jerusalem Fund Gallery are seeking works on paper for a traveling exhibition The Map is Not the Territory, that will look at the relationships and parallels between Palestinians, Native Americans, and the Irish. The exhibition, featuring Native American, Irish, and Palestinian artists, is scheduled to open on September 6, 2013, at The Jerusalem Fund Gallery in Washington, D.C.
