DUBAI / Alserkal family was recognized with Patron of the Arts Award by HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum for the contribution within the development of the cultural landscape of Dubai and the UAE.

Alserkal family’s ongoing initiatives through various projects has enabled the growth of commercial sector within the arts field. Mainly known for Alserkal Avenue cultural district’s development, situated in the industrial area of Dubai, currently housing the highest concentration of art galleries and creatives within one space. Recently announced expansion plans for the Avenue by 250 000 sqft of 50 mln dhs to further nurture and cherish local and international talent is a part of the family’s commitment to complement the vision for the UAE being the center for arts and culture.

Abdelmonem Bin Eisa Alserkal the pioneer behind Alserkal Avenue added ‘I am honoured to be recognized with the Patron of the Arts Award by HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum. This award belongs to the art galleries and creatives within Alserkal Avenue, who made Alserkal Avenue into what it is today.’
