Jerusalem Fund Gallery Al-Quds presents 'Fabric of a Nation Deja Vu Series2', the solo exhibition of mixed media photography by Amr Mounib. The exhibition will be open until December 6, 2013.

Amr Mounib, an award-wining photographer, is presenting his vision of Egypt in his solo exhibition at Jerusalem Fund Gallery Al-Quds. By combining painting, collage photography and a touch of surrealism, Mounib produces the photographs that show Egypt with real people and real places, overlaid with images that illustrate a reality from the hearts and dreams of its people. In the light of its recent history, the brighter and happier image is needed to bring the hope of a better Egypt.

Amr Mounib was born in Cairo. He earned his degree in Communications and Visual Media from The American University in Washington D.C. where he won several awards for his work in photography and film. Mounib moved to Europe and built his career in fashion photography for a decade, studying under Foulie Elia in Paris. Amr Mounib then returned to Washington DC before retracing his roots in Cairo after 35 years of absence.
