LONDON / Mica Gallery is inviting you to attend the very last and only women's event as a part of their 'Brit Pak' exhibition showcasing contemporary British Pakistani artists, on Tuesday 29th November at 6.30pm.

‘What Women Want vs What Women Achieve’ - a discussion chaired by Suniya Qureshi of Ludoo Productions, with panellists Ahlya Fateh (MD TataNaka/ ex managing editor of Tatler), young entrepreneur Noreen Mirza (MD of Mirza Collection) as well as a live performance by musician Sarah Sarhandi of mixed British and Pakistani heritage.

The evening will be a unique opportunity to catch up with old friends and make new ones as well as network for business and professional purposes. The audience will be a mixture of professionals, lifestyle bloggers/ journalists, budding and established entrepreneurs, talented women of all ages and backgrounds. Experts will be on hand to mentor and explore opportunities.

About the guests

Ahlya Fateh is Managing Director of luxury fashion brand Tata Naka, and ex-Managing Editor of Tatler. She worked for Condé Nast Publications for 14 years during which she was seconded to Moscow for the launch of VO GUE Russia as Editorial Business Director. In 2009 Ahlya was appointed by the ECB to shape the marketing for England Women’s Cricket Team and is founder member of The Sorority and advisory member of Pakistan Rising.

Sarah Sarhandi is a musician, composer and virtuoso violist based in London and studied at the Royal Aacademy of Music. Her music weaves together sublime fragmented melody, viola, voices, instruments and electronica. She has collaborated with Bjork, Jean Charles de Castlebajac, Ivor Guest, Damien Hirst, Hanif Kurieshi, Talvin Singh, Sabiha Sumar and Gabriela Trzebinski amongst others and has a range of film and tv credits.

Noreen Mirza is Managing Director of Shards of London/the Mirza Collection. Featured in Women In Business, The Guardian, Asian Enterprise amongst others. Her jewellery clients include A-list celebrities and VIPs.

Suniya Qureshi is the Director of Ludoo Productions - a platform for acting, writing and directing, exploring cultural and religious issues. She is also the Executive Director of the British Pakistan Foundation (BPF), which aims to improve health, education and economy in Pakistan. Suniya has worked in TV, radio and journalism.
