Ousmane Lambat “The Unity”, a Photo Exhibition on Sufism in North India

Drawn from Ousmane Lambat's book “The Unity”, this exhibition takes us into the mystical and spiritual universe of Muslim India through the mystical quest and the journey of a man in search of himself.

By setting the lens of his camera at the moment of the encounter, from shrines to mausoleums, from famous to unknown places and through solitary faces impregnated with prayer and meditation, Ousmane Lambat shares with the public a rare travel journal. This work is as unique as unusual to preserve the memory of the Sufi masters of India and to lead us on a quest both deeply personal and universal.
