'Love Letter From Brazil To Iraq' is a project that brought together 21 Brazilian photographers in one exhibition, with a message of peace.

The photos convey the message of hope, freedom and friendship and were taken by 21 professional Brazilian photographers: Alexandre Ormond, Gabriel Chaim, Bruno Nunes, Glauco Tavares, Sandra Carrillo, Renato Gaiofato, Sandra Audujas, Júlio Guima, Nana Higa, Bernardo Borges, Valérie Mesquita, Alexandre Urch, Aryanne Valgas, Stefano Iasi, Karina Ammar, Tuta Pine, Gabi Mateus, William Bezerra, Ricardo Abreu, Anderson Coimbra and Ellion Cardoso.

Each photographer is participating with 3 photos, so in total 63 photos were taken in 2015 in Brazil and show cities like Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, Brazilians life style, nature, parks, beaches, children, etc. The main purpose of this project is to celebrate the freedom and the happiness, despite the huge challenges that Brazil and the countries in the Middle East face.

With the support of GNO - Larsa for Human Rights and IPC - Iraq Photography Center, the idea was to bring the photos and exhibit them in Bagdad and thus bring the message of peace. The curator of the exhibition Renato Negrão arrived to Amman with the photographs but unfortunately couldn’t get visa to Iraq. So the first exhibition was held in Amman instead, from Jul 24 - Aug 20, 2015.

Two parallel exhibitions were arranged, the first one was indoors at the Fann wa Chai Art Gallery where all 63 photographs were exhibited. The opening of the exhibition was attended by Brazilian Ambassador Francisco Carlos Soares Luz. The second one was an outdoor installation where 21 photographs blended with a background of Amman city.
