SARAJEVO, BiH / On December 15th, an exhibition titled "6 in 1" opened at the National Gallery in Sarajevo. The exhibition is specific since it presents the work of six young, promising artists, with critical texts written by six young art historians. In this way the exhibition contributes to development, both artistic scene, and art critics in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The work of one of the leading artist in Bosnia, Meliha Teparić, titled “Holy Temple” stands out from the whole exhibition. The critical review was written by art historian Aida Smailbegović. Meliha Teparić finished the Fine Art Academy in Sarajevo, where she specialized in the field of traditional calligraphy and modern interpretation of Islamic art. She won several international awards in the field of calligraphic art. We presented an interview with this talented artist in our first issue of Islamic Arts Magazine.
