The Collection of over 100 artworks is compiled by the most important works of Bosnian artists. Among others, we can see artworks by Mersad Berber, Safet Zec, Mehmed Aksamija, Seid Hasanefendic, Emir Gems, Edin Numankadic, Ismet and Ismar Mujezinovic, Ibrahim Ljubovic, Salim Obralic, Nesim Tahirovic etc. The collection especially emphasizes Bosnian-Muslim tradition and Islamic architecture in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The works range from poetic to very suggestive and expressive landscapes. A significant part of The Collection are also abstract artworks that stylistically belong to lyrical abstraction or abstract expressionism.

This exhibition of the art collection “The Focus of the Collection” completes the very rich exhibiting activity in 2011 and presents the Bosniak Institute as one of the leading institutional stakeholders in the promotion and presentation of Bosnian culture.
