The Iraqi Art Project will bring together 14 Iraqi artists, 7 emerging and 7 established (including Dia Azzawi, Mahmoud Obaidi, Servan Baran, Ahmed Al Bahrani and Ismail Azzam). They have donated artwork which will be auctioned in two auctions at Showcase Gallery, on 14 January 2012.

The proceeds of the auctions will go to the Young Mesopotamians. This is a UK based charity which is implementing an on-the-ground educational program for arts students in Baghdad, bringing academics from around the world to teach on the ground to these students. The aim is to revive the arts scene in Baghdad.

Help TYM reach their funding goal for this programme through participation in the Iraqi Art Project.

Seven emerging Iraqi artists, including street artists, have donated their work for the Emerging Art Exhibition. Seven established Iraqi artists will participate in the Established Art Exhibition.
