The exhibition 'World without Violence' is the result of an International Poster Competition organized by the Iranian Independent Designers Society (IIDS).

The exhibition opened on February 6, in the presence of Dr. Ali Jannati, the Minister of Culture of Iran, and Dr. Mohammad Nahavandian, the Chief of Staff of the President of Iran, at Niavaran Cultural Center and will run until February 24, 2015.

Various aspects of the theme reflected the visual concepts and interpretations by 428 designers that submitted 1255 works to the competition, from 30 countries, among them from Iran, Poland, China, Turkey, Mexico, Russia, Germany, Serbia, Ukraine, Italy, Taiwan, America, Spain, Japan, Venezuela, Iraq, Switzerland, Finland, France, Ecuador, India, Belarus, Austria, Portugal, UAE, Greece, Argentina, Brazil, Korea, Macao and South Korea.

The international jury panel comprised of 18 members from Switzerland, Finland, Poland, Bosnia, China, Turkey, Spain and Iran: Ahmad Aghagholizadeh, Onish Aminelahi, Arash Tanhai, Elvira Bojadzic, Enric Jardí, Fang Chen, Alireza Hesaraki, Hassan Mousazadeh, Mohammad Khazaie, Ali Mirfattah, Majid Kashani, Kourosh Parsanejad, Pekka Loiri, Rene Wanner, Rasoul Sadrameli, Mohammad Saber Sheykh Rezaei, Sebastian Kubica, Ali Seylan.

After the Award Ceremony, it was discovered that the second prize is a plagiary of a music poster by Ryan Trayte from 2008, and the prize has been withdrawn.
