Fahim Somani in The Essence of Abstraction at Agora Gallery

NEW YORK, NY / Chelsea’s Agora Gallery will feature the original work of Pakistani, Houston-based artist Fahim Somani in The Essence of Abstraction. The exhibition is scheduled to run from March 2, 2013 through March 22, 2013. The opening reception will be held on Thursday night, March 14, 2013 from 6-8 pm.

DUBAI / A survey exhibition of Iranian artist Monir Shahroudy Farmanfarmaian that reflects upon the past decade of her remarkable artistic journey will open at The Third Line on March 18, 2013. His upcoming exhibition 'Sulook', in the gallery’s Project Space, presents ancient concepts of transcendence in an ultra-modern context, with contemporary sculptural pieces taking cue from Islamic architecture. The exhibition opens tonight and will run until March 7, 2013.
