Orientalist Museum launches “Journey into the World of the Ottomans”

Doha 28th October 2010 – The Orientalist Museum (part of Qatar Museums Authority) opened its first exhibition entitled “A Journey into the World of the Ottomans” Thursday 28th October 2010 as part of QMA’s activities celebrating Doha as the Arab Capital of Culture 2010. The exhibition will be open to the public from Friday 29th October until 24 January 2011 in the temporary gallery of the Museum of Islamic Art.

Mimar Sinan Exhibiton in Beylikdüzü Migros Shopping Mall

Exhibition can be visited on 01 – 17 October. Having lived in the most powerful era of the Ottoman Empire and served to three sultans Süleyman the Magnificent, Selim II and Murat the 3rd; the great architect Sinan played the major role in construction of architecture masterpieces symbolizing the Empire’s power.
