Desert to Delta: Contemporary Art from Saudi Arabia in Memphis, TN

'Desert to Delta' is a pan-city festival of Saudi Contemporary Art & Film in Memphis. The project will launch with a major art exhibition at the Art Museum of University of Memphis on October 8, 2017. An accompanying community outreach program will include a reception and artist talks at Memphis Brooks Museum of Art and an education program at schools and universities across Tennessee.

The Third Line at Frieze London

The Third Line is participating in the 15th edition of Frieze London with a group presentation of works by Abbas Akhavan, Amir H. Fallah, Hayv Kahraman, Laleh Khorramian and Sara Naim. Investigating the concept of space and environment, be it in a social, physical or mystical sense, each artist uniquely interprets their surroundings or habitat, expressing their cognitive or affective ‘self’.

Inventing Downtown: Artist-Run Galleries in New York City, 1952–1965

The NYU Abu Dhabi Art Gallery (NYUAD Art Gallery) is pleased to announce that its fall exhibition, 'Inventing Downtown: Artist-Run Galleries in New York City, 1952–1965', will open to the public on October 4. This exhibition brings to Abu Dhabi a major collection of historical artworks, and was organized by the Grey Art Gallery, New York University’s fine art museum in New York City.
