Necmettin Erbakan University's summer course 'Art Treasures of Konya: Medieval Islamic Art and Architecture' (July 21- August 15, 2015) provides the occasion to undergraduate and graduate students as well as interested aficionados of Islamic art to explore in depth some of the city's dozens of medieval monuments, most notably, but not exclusively, from the Anatolian Seljuk period (1077-1308).
