Art Competition: Skywards Future Artists

Skywards Future Artists is the frequent flyer programme of Emirates, with over 6 million members worldwide, and the winning artwork from the competition will feature on the Skywards membership cards, a symbol of Emirates frequent flyer programme. Winners will also receive a commission of USD $5,000 and enjoy global exposure and recognition for their work. In addition, they will also have a chance to fly to Dubai and display their artwork at Art Dubai in March 2012, the leading contemporary art fair in the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia region.

This year’s competition is set to be even bigger and better than before. Artists are invited to respond to three separate inspirational briefs, each one asking for an interpretation of a different quality: Modernism, Sophistication or Opulence.

Artists may submit work in any of these media:
•  Painting/Illustration
•  Photography/Digital Media
•  3D (Sculpture, Glass, Ceramics)
