Posting Ramadan - Different Scenes and Experiences from Art Dubai’s Global Network
Jul 31, 2013 EVENT, Art News
Each contributor is asked to reflect on their experience of Ramadan and the series produces a fantastic range of contributions -- ranging from essays and short texts to photo series and illustrations.
Last year, for example, they posted 20 entries from contributors including 'The Culturist' Hind Mezaina, Marrakesh-based children's handmade accessories and clothing designers Zid Zid Kids, curator Alia Swastika, and many more. The posts hailed from different parts of the world including Canada, Indonesia, Germany, and Morocco, as well as the UAE. The series garnered a huge amount of interest and was shared all over the world.
