The traditional clothing in BiH

The Association of Youth Cazin.net is continuing with the affirmation of the cultural scene in Cazin with an exhibition and a roundtable founded by the Ministry of Education, Science, Sports and Culture USK.

The exhibition of photos “And all of Bosnia and Herzegovina” by Jasmin Fazlagić is the project that will surely refresh the cultural scene in Unsko-Sanski Kanton (Bosnia and Herzegovina), which in an entirely new and exciting way portrays the traditional clothing in BiH from the photo archives of the Monastery and the Spiritual Center “Karmel St.Ilija” from Tomislavgrad. In addition to the exhibition there will be a roundtable “Traditional culture in the identity of the peoples of BiH”, with the main speaker Fr Zvonko Martić, who with Jasmin Fazlagić is the creator of this project of preserving the traditional clothings by photography.

The roundtable will also promote a book “Vila bana zvala priko Vrana. Tradicijska odjeća, pjesme i plesovi Hrvata u BiH u 21.stoljeću” (Traditional clothing, songs and dances of Croats in Bosnia in the 21st Century) by Fr Zvonko Martić and Vidoslav Bagur.

The roundtable will be held on December 28th 2010 at 17:30h, while the exhibition will be officially opened at the House of Culture in Cazin at 19:00h the same day.
