‘Defiance’ - a striking exhibition by 5 Palestinian artists from Gaza

LONDON / Leytonstone's Stone Space gallery is hosting 'Defiance' an exhibition of work by 5 Palestinian artists from Gaza in conjunction with Arts Canteen. The exhibition presents work which illustrates the determination of five artists to overcome the environment in which they work while simultaneously being inspired and challenged by it.

The Arts of Giving, Visual Stories of Islamic Generosity from the 7th Century to Today

DOHA / Gifts of the Sultan: The Arts of Giving at the Islamic Courts, first shown in the Los Angeles County Museum of Art last fall, this exhibition has its own global Life Story now, traveling from Los Angeles, California to Houston, Texas and now to Doha, Qatar for its final viewing. The exhibition is on view from March 19 to June 2, 2012 at the Museum of Islamic Art - Doha.
