“I have been painting for more than 50 years, searching for an image that will satisfy me. I try to catch that picture that is always running away from me. I move from a time to another, from a painting to another as if they were memories of another life. Every painting is pushing me to draw the next one. I try to learn from nature the shape, the color and the movement so that my work becomes a reality of its own, with a time of its own.†– Jamil Molaeb
