The exhibition of paintings and sculpture by well known Bosnian artist Meliha Teparić opened at the International University in Sarajevo (IUS).

With this exhibition IUS opened the new gallery at the University. The gallery is planned as a new venue to present art works by prominent international and Bosnian artists.

Meliha Teparic specialized in Islamic contemporary art inspired with kufi style calligraphy. At the exhibition she presented her large format paintings and small scale sculptures. Teparić uses kufi style in a dynamic composition, not only in her paintings but also in her sculptures and connects all art elements with strong colours and forms.

The exhibition was opened by well known Bosnian calligrapher Ćazim Hadžimejlić.
