ART EVENT Days of open door of the Bosniak Institute

Within the framework of the planned events are:

Wednesday:

On the 26th of May at 19:00 h will be an opening of the exhibition “FROM THE FAGINOVIC FOLDER” which will present the calligraphy work of a prominent calligrapher Ali ef. Faginovic and his students. Featured works are donated to the Bosniak Institute by Mr. Muzafer Faginovic.

Thursday:

On the 27th of May at 19:00 h there will be a premiere of the Theatrical Collage of Poetry “A LIVING MEMORY” of the poetry of Safvet Bey Basagic (on the occasion of the 140th year since the birth of the poet Basagic). Collage is for the theatrical performance prepared by Salko Saric, and the performers are actors: Nedzad Maksumic and Diana Ondelj Maksumic.

Tuesday:

On the 1st of June at 18:00 h will be the concert “200 YEARS OF SCHUMANN” by the students of the Music Academy of Sarajevo, on the occasion of 200 years of the birth of Robert Schumann (1810-1856). Performers: Isaac Haracic, Alma Hodzic, Darius Jahic, Milan Lucic, Sabina Mujic, Aida Musanovic, John Peranic, Ena Prutina and Emil Zubcevic.All the students are in a class of extraordinary professors: Svetlana Chlaidze and Yevgeny Xaviereffa.

During the “Days of open door of the Bosniak Institute” in the lobby of the library the visitors will have an opportunity to see the books that were promoted over the past nine years at the Institute. A library and galleries will be open to visitors every day.

For all events and the visits the entry is free.
