Dzeko Hodzic, one of the leading Bosnian artists, exhibited his new artworks at the Novi Grad Municipality Gallery in Sarajevo.

The exhibition, titled Destruction of Pocitelj, is dedicated to the town Počitelj in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which suffered heavily during the war in the nineties when it was destroyed by the Croatian army. Pocitelj, a pearl of oriental-Islamic architecture, is known for its numerous religious and other buildings from the Ottoman period.

The artist created his art installations by collecting different materials from burnt and destroyed buildings and integrating them, like a collage, into his works.
