Heritage of Bosnia and Herzegovina

A photo exhibition organized by FVK "Valter" Sarajevo, opened at Bosniak Institute - Adil ZulfikarpaÅ¡iÄ‡ Foundation

Bosnia and Herzegovina, a country with a long historical memory, is a true treasure of cultural heritage carefully collected in cities or spread over hills and valleys. The spiritual, historical and cultural power of this country and its people represents wealth from which we draw the millennial story about Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The photo exhibition 'Heritage of Bosnia and Herzegovina' presents selected moments captured by a camera lens that represent different cultures, traditions and religious beliefs in our country. The exhibited photographs show the unforgettable experience of the diversity and beauty of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Through these photographs we uncover hidden gems from sleepy towns, gourds of Bosnian hills, and foggy valleys in which our ancestors lived and built.

Photo-video club 'Valter' was founded in 2009 and since then it has existed as a non-governmental and non-profit association of photo and film lovers, which through its activities contributes to the development, education and promotion of photography and film. In the nine years of its existence, the club actively participated in many photographic events held under the auspices of the Association for Artistic Photography of BiH, and organized annual, collective and independent exhibitions.
