The exhibition 'Gizdava nit' (The Posh Thread) opened at the Bosniak Institute in Sarajevo on December 19, 2013. The exhibition displays the Ethnology Collection of the Bosniak Institute - Adil Zulfikarpasic Foundation and will run through January 2014.

HIPA to Exhibit ‘Faces’, A Series of Photographs Captured by Syrian Children

The Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Photography Award (HIPA) is set to exhibit a series of photographs captured by Syrian children in the Emirati-Jordanian Camp (EJC) for refugees in Jordan. The exhibition titled 'Faces' will be in the Dubai mall and will run from the 23rd until the 30th of December 2013 with 48 photographs and 24 portraits shown.

V&A Announces Dice Kayek as Winner of Jameel Prize 3

Dice Kayek has won the £25,000 Jameel Prize 3 for Istanbul Contrast (2010), a collection of garments that evoke Istanbul’s architectural and artistic heritage. Dice Kayek is a Turkish fashion label established in 1992 by sisters Ece and Ayşe Ege. Martin Roth, Director of the V&A and Fady Jameel, President of Abdul Latif Jameel Community Initiatives (ALJCI) presented Ece and Ayşe Ege with the prize at a ceremony at the V&A on Tuesday December 10, 2013.
